Gallery Show at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. Group of 22 artists of all mediums, visualizing the artistic expression of purpose behind the James Webb Space Telescope, which is planned to launch into orbit 2021. I produced three pieces for project:
1. A preliminary plein air painting done on-site of the actual telescope.
2. A 9 month project consisting of tattoos for different future observations of the telescope, arranged for the 19 mirrors of the telescope.
3. An acrylic painting, expressing the exploration of the telescope, observing time and birth of new stars.
Both of the larger projects were later used in a NASA briefing about exoplanets.
Experimental Puppetry Theater (XPT 2018) Center for Puppetry Arts
Directed XPT puppet show, creating the death of a space man via Sagittarius A- the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy.
I had a team of 8 and a grant of $500, in which we created a giant black hole, and a full set to be set up and broke down in ten minutes. Total project took about nine months and is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done and some of the most rewarding.
